Downloading music to your Sony PSP is not that difficult if you just follow these few simple steps. This method can be used to download videos and music to your PSP player.
You will need software that allows you to burn CD's. Most computers these days will have software already installed that you can use. For example, you can use windows media player, which comes standard with windows. There are also free downloads for ripping CD's so you can always find one to use if you don't already have something.
Next you will need to open up the software and decide what music you want to download to your PSP player. Either load a CD of your favorite music or find the music on you PC. Create a folder on your PC to create the new files in. You might want to label it PSP Download. Using windows media player, you can transfer the songs to this folder. Of course if you don't have windows media player then use whatever software for ripping CD's you do have.
The last step is fairly easy. You will need to move the songs from your PSP Download folder to the PSP player. You need to hook your PSP player to your computer using the USB cable. Go to your "MY COMPUTER" and look for the new drive called "PSP". All you need to do now is drag and drop the music from your PSP Down Load folder to the "PSP" drive and you are done. The same process works for any type of download except you will use a different software to transfer videos to the PSP Download folder. Once again there are many free versions of video ripping software.
