When it comes to full version game downloads, who wouldn't get tempted with the offer? Any game lover would thrill at the mere thought of such a possibility. It is not a secret that having all the latest games is a pleasure few people can afford. And though everybody must have heard about online downloads, a lot of people are still apprehensive and full of doubts, when deciding to make a choice.
There is a common misconception about full version game downloads on the Internet - some users believe they are all scams or simply don't exist at all. Well, these sites are definitely there, very real and easily searchable in any search engine. But yes, unfortunately a handful of them are scams, no matter how reputable they seem to be and what position in search engine listings they occupy.
Here are some of the common scams one should be aware of when attempting full version game downloads online:
1. The site advertises as completely free, yet after registration you find out that either you are allowed to download a very limited number of games (no new games, usually) or the access to the downloading area is denied completely. To continue, you are requested to buy a software or something else, needed to proceed with downloads. In other words, eventually you are forced to part with your money anyway.
2. The site advertises as free and it actually is. It may also claim it is 100% legal and protected from all the pop-ups, viruses, etc, and this is where the scam lies. Usually, these sites are the same notorious torrent websites where files are shared between users, and along with full version game downloads you also get hosts of spyware, adware and viruses in your PC. There are even more problems with these sites, and to top it all, they are NOT legal, though shamelessly claiming the opposite.
3. The site boasts of a huge game selection, yet doesn't allow you to see their catalog, and after you register (and in most cases pay for a subscription), you find out that the games you wanted are not available, or they are in a format that is incompatible with your portable player device.
Other common scams and nuisances about full version game downloads include corrupted files, which don't play or are not complete, and user interface, which is so complicated that you fail to figure out how things work and simply decide to quit the site forever.
To avoid all the aforementioned disappointments, you need to do your research carefully, attend forums related to full version game downloads, ask the online community, and read independent website reviews.
